The 1 October Meet (Weekend 29-09-06 till 01-10-06).
The meet was held in Bourtange (Small place in Groningen close to the German border).
A three day lasting event of fun sharing: memories, photos, videos, hugs and pokes!
And of course also fursuiting.

Friday: Arrival.
Saturday: Going trough Groningen city and suiting in the evening.
Sunday: Suiting in Bourtange stronghold and final goodbye.

Saturday:
We went to Groningen city where we met Early
 Adopter J who is a painter from New York City living this 
fall in Rotterdam. He working on a project that He calls the 
"Fursuit Portrait Project"- painting the 'fursonas' 
of some of the furies he has met. 
Although he is not a fury himself, 
he has a great respect for the passion and creativity 
shown by the people he has met in the fandom. 
Its also a perfect antidote to what can often 
feel like a crippingly-self-aware, hipper-than-thou, 
New York art-world that he fully admit to being part of-and yet hate 
at the same time.

We went trough the city chatting about furry stuff.

Sunday:
We had to say goodbye of most people, 
and some already left Saturday.
So we decided to go fursuiting in the stronghold of Bourtange.
The people seem to getting used to it as 
this is one of so may times there where fursuiters there.
After that there was the final goodbye and everybody
 left on their way to home from a great weekend.
